Under normal circumstances,needle valve material should be selected according to its parameters and material performance according to this standard, and should comply with the provisions of the relevant product standards. Other materials with properties not lower than those specified in this standard or agreed upon by both parties in the contract may also be selected.
The technical requirements of needle valves in special cases are as follows:
Grey Cast Iron Needle Valve suit for water, Steam, Air, Gas and Oil with nominal pressure PN≤1.0 Mpa and temperature -10~200℃

Malleable Cast Iron Needle Valve suit for water, Steam, Air and Oil with nominal pressure PN≤2.5 Mpa and temperature -30~300℃.

Ductile Iron Needle Valve suit for water, Steam, Air and Oil with nominal pressure PN≤4.0 Mpa and temperature -30~350℃.

Copper Alloy Needle Valve used for Water, Sea Water, Oxygen Air Oil and other media with nominal pressure PN≤2.5 Mpa and temperature -40~250℃.

Carbon Steel Needle Valve suit for water, Steam, Air, Hydrogen, Ammonia, Nitrogen and petroleum products with nominal pressure PN≤32.0 Mpa and temperature -30~450℃.

High Temperature Steel Needle Valve suit for Steam and petroleum products with nominal pressure PN≤16.0 Mpa and temperature less than or equal to 550℃.

Low Temperature Steel Needle Valve used for Ethylene, Propylene, Liquid Natural Gas and Liquid nitrogen products with nominal pressure PN≤6.4 Mpa and temperature higher than or equal to --196℃.

Stainless Acid resistant Steel Needle Valve used for nominal pressure PN≤6.4 Mpa and temperature is less than or equal to 200℃ Nitric Acid, Acetic Acid and other media of stainless acid steel valve.
