Pneumatic Actuator is also called pneumatic Actuator or pneumatic device, but the general name is Pneumatic Actuator, pneumatic head actuator, which is an actuator that drives the opening and closing or regulating the valve by using the air source pressure. Compared with the electric actuator, the execution speed of the pneumatic actuator is very fast, up to 0.05 seconds. Pneumatic actuators are divided into single action and double action according to different forms of action, and the categories and principles of both are not the same.
The double-acting actuator is mainly the air opening and air closing type, that is, the valve needs to use the air source whether it is opened or closed, which is usually manifested as the ventilation is opened, the ventilation is closed, the air source is lost, the valve remains in the state at the time, and the air source is reconnected, and the valve can continue to work.
The single-acting actuator has the function of spring return. Normally open and normally closed can be selected according to the working conditions.
Case 1: When the ventilation is opened and the air source is lost, it is automatically reset to the initial closed state.
Case 2: The ventilation is closed, and when the air source is lost, it is automatically reset to the initial open state.
Double-acting pneumatic actuators are generally used in working conditions with low leakage requirements, while single-acting pneumatic actuators are used more in dangerous working conditions, and the valve can be quickly closed or opened when a sudden failure occurs after the loss of air source. In terms of price, single-acting pneumatic actuators will be higher than double-acting pneumatic actuators.
