Butterfly valve installation precautions:
Installation environment: Butterfly valves can be used indoors and in the open air, but in corrosive media and easy to rust occasions, the corresponding material combination should be used.
Installation site: Must be installed in a place that is safe to operate and easy to maintain, inspect and repair.
Ambient environment: Temperature -20℃~+70℃, humidity below 90%RH. Before installation, check whether the valve meets the requirements of operating conditions according to the nameplate on the valve.
Note: The butterfly valve does not have the ability to resist high pressure difference. Do not let the butterfly valve open or continue to flow under high pressure difference.
Before installation, remove impurities such as dirt and oxidation scale from pipes. When installing, please note that the flow of media should be consistent with the flow arrow indicated on the body.
Align the pipe distribution center before and after, make the flange interface parallel, lock the screws evenly, pay attention to the pneumatic butterfly valve can not have too much pipe stress on the cylinder control valve. According to the size and weight of the cylinder control valve, give appropriate support on the piping or on the body.
Maintenance precautions
Daily inspection: Check for leakage, abnormal noise, vibration, etc.
Regular inspection: the valve and other system components should be regularly checked for leakage, rust and lag phenomenon, and the maintenance, cleaning, dust removal, residual stains.
Decomposing inspection: the valve should be inspected and repaired regularly. During decomposing inspection and repair, parts should be washed again, foreign matter should be removed, stains and rust spots should be removed, gaskets and fillers damaged or badly worn should be replaced, and sealing surface should be corrected. After maintenance, hydraulic pressure test should be carried out again on the valve, which can be used again after passing.
If a fluid leakage situation is found during the inspection of the pneumatic butterfly valve, do not touch or get close to the cylinder control valve before confirming safety.
